Taking place on Wednesday 29 May 2024 at Farringdon Youth and Community Centre from 11am to 2pm, the event is an opportunity for the community of Farringdon to come together.
Come along, grab a free ice cream and have fun with your community with:

- Your local councillors
- Sunderland City Council
- Face painters
- and more!
A food van will also be in attendance on the day offering hot sandwiches for a small donation.

The Big Lunch is the UK’s annual get-together for neighbours and communities, with millions of people coming together for a few hours of friendship, food and fun. It connects people and encourages friendlier, safer communities where people start to share more – conversations, ideas, skills, resources and friendship.
